Outfit your outdoor kitchen and lounge area with comfortable and casual outdoor furniture and fixtures.

Casual Outdoor Kitchen & Lounge

When the sun moves around for a direct hit, pull the cord for instant shade on this retractable pergola. I bought this pergola last summer and absolutely love it! The canopy was removed late in the fall, but the frame stayed up and remained intact all winter. Just waiting another week to make sure we don’t get any more snow before I put the retractable canopy back on for this summer.

For all you lounge lizards out there, did you ever think you’d be making a move from your indoor La-Z-Boy recliner to an outdoor La-Z-Boy recliner? The outdoor model features quick drying cushions in colorfast, UV-resistant fabric and a rust-resistant steel frame wrapped in all-weather resin.

Belly up to the backyard bar or take a seat in a funky low-back outdoor bar stool. Resin wicker seems to be a theme with the outdoor furniture featured in this outdoor kitchen inspiration board. The Utby bar table from Ikea would make an excellent patio bar for your outdoor lounge area. Set it up under the pergola or under the stars.

You won’t break the bank or the dishes when you use melamine dinnerware for your outdoor dining.

Never one to pass up an opportunity for a play on words - the Island Gas Grill from Home Depot has received sizzling reviews! It has the style of a built-in gas grill with the added convenience of portablility.

At the top of my summer wish list for outdoor accessories is a set of rechargeable lights. With no outdoor electrical outlets, these provide the perfect alternative to having extension cords trailing out my patio door. Second on my wish list is some colorful outdoor pillows. Two would never be enough, but the ones from Pottery Barn shown above would be a great start.

I bought this Pergola from Cdn Tire as well - but I need the manufacturer as I am requiring a part - do you happen to have this or the sku# from Cdn Tire

Hi Shauna,

If you can give me a couple days I’ll try to find my receipt!

Really inspirational items for quite an innovative concept “taking your home outside” - it’s just not something I’d ever considered before.

I’ve had a think about how I’d do mine and I reckon that I’ll need a sturdier rug, and I’d like it to have touch of the organic about it for a real indoors-outdoors room: this one seems to do the trick (http://www.nicerug.co.uk/product.aspx/20/Organic_Knot_Handmade_Jute_Rug) - just thought I’d share it with you guys in case you were looking for something similar!

On the very top if this page is a picture of a white bedding set with a tree like pattern on it. Can you tell me where you got it from please? I LOVE it!

Please email me response,

Hi Natalie,

I’m pretty sure the picture you are referring to is of bedding from Inhabit.

I need to replace the retractable awning due to wear and tear but have recently found out that Canadian Tire does not stock this product anymore. Do you have a phone number, website or email that I can follow up with. I have a 1-800 number as well as a fax number but have yet to hear back from them.

Hi Angie,

I don’t have any contact information at all.

My awning is starting to show some wear too. I was going to buy some Sunbrella fabric and use the old awning as a pattern to make a new awning. I imagine an awning company could do it a whole lot more efficiently, but I kind of like the DIY aspect.

Sorry I’m not more helpful.
